About Seven Hills

The State electorate of Seven Hills is situated in the mid-western suburbs of Sydney and covers the area from Winston Hills in the north, Northmead and Westmead in the east and Kings Langley in the west.

Seven Hills electorate is bounded on the north by the M2-M7, on the east by Darling Mills Creek, on the south by the railway and on the west (in part) by Sunnyholt Road.

The seat includes part of all of the suburbs of Kings Langley, Lalor Park, Seven Hills, Toongabbie, Old Toongabbie, Pendle Hill, Wentworthville, Constitution Hill, Westmead, Northmead, Winston Hills and a small area of Baulkham Hills.

Seven Hills has a population of around 54,000 electoral voters. The electors are drawn from the previous electoral districts of Baulkham Hills (16,069), Parramatta (5,769) and Toongabbie (31,339).

38% of the population has a background of language other than English. Of these, around 10% speak one of the Sub-Continent languages, 4.6% are Chinese-speaking and 3.0% are Arabic-speaking.
